Foundations of Management

Designed a leadership program to train front-line managers to become more effective leaders.

The Project

Lennox International—a leading global provider of climate control solutions for heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration (HVACR) markets—was interested in refreshing its Foundations of Management (FOM) leadership program, a first-tier company-wide leadership program for first-time managers, supervisors, and team leads.

The Solutions

(1) The Foundations of Management (FOM) leadership program covers the transition from being an individual contributor to self-managing and managing others, all while managing the work; (2) Designed, developed, implemented, and evaluated the 2-day leadership program hosted on Lennox International’s HQ campus with topics including: (i) Emotional Intelligence; (ii) How to Identify, Understand, and Adapt Behaviors in Self and Others; (iii) How to Manage Conflict; (iv) How to Have a Difficult Conversation & Provide Feedback; (v) How to Coach Others; (vi) How to Delegate; (3) Designed a 100-page workbook for participants to jot down notes, write down thoughts/ideas, and to use as a reference.
